Built to last, backed in writing.
Every A.J. LeBlanc Heating HVAC installation across Southern NH comes with a 5-year workmanship warranty. We register every system we install for full manufacturer parts coverage, and offer our A.J. LeBlanc Heating Extended Warranty and Service Agreement for long-term parts and labor protection.
Standard Warranty Coverage on Every Install
Every system we install is registered for full manufacturer parts coverage, and every HVAC install adds our 5-year workmanship warranty on top. Both come standard at no extra cost, not an upsell.
5-Year Workmanship Warranty
We stand behind our HVAC installation work for a full five years. Most contractors offer one or two. If something goes wrong because of how we installed it, we come back and fix it at no charge.
See what's covered
- Brazed and flared line set joints we made
- Electrical connections and disconnects
- Ductwork transitions and sealing
- Condensate drainage and routing
- Venting, flue, and gas piping connections
- Mounting, leveling, and pad work
- Initial refrigerant charge and pressure test
Refrigerant leaks are only covered under workmanship if they originate from a connection we made. Leaks caused by manufacturer defects, part failures, or damage to the equipment are handled through the manufacturer's parts warranty (or the extended warranty if purchased), not workmanship.
Manufacturer Parts Warranty (Registered for You)
Almost every manufacturer requires online registration within 60-90 days of installation. Skip it and your parts warranty drops from 10 years to 5. We register every system on your behalf the day it goes in, so the full extended parts warranty is locked in from day one.
See what's covered
- Compressor coverage (typically 10 years)
- Heat exchanger coverage (10-20 years on most furnaces and boilers)
- Electronic control boards
- Blower motors and inducer motors
- Indoor and outdoor coils
- Tank coverage on water heaters (6-10 years)
Daikin 12-Year Parts & Labor Coverage
As an authorized Daikin dealer, we install qualifying Daikin systems with the factory's 12-year extended warranty included. This is one of the strongest factory warranty programs in the industry, and one of the main reasons we recommend Daikin for homeowners who plan to stay in the home long-term.
See what's covered
- 12 years parts coverage
- 12 years labor coverage
- No per-claim deductible
- Registered automatically by A.J. LeBlanc Heating at installation
- Available on qualifying residential Daikin systems
A.J. LeBlanc Heating Extended Warranty and Service Agreement
For homeowners who want maximum protection, we offer extended parts and labor coverage as an optional add-on at the time of installation. There is no per-claim deductible, and the agreement covers the cost of labor and the replacement of internal components beyond the manufacturer's standard warranty. We discuss the options at quote time so you can decide for your situation.
Who handles what: The plan is underwritten by JB Warranties, a national third-party warranty provider that specializes in HVAC, plumbing, water heater, and electrical equipment. A.J. LeBlanc Heating is your point of contact for everything else: we sell the plan, register the equipment, dispatch the technician, perform the repair work with our own team, and handle all paperwork and billing with JB on your behalf. You always call us first.
Equipment Eligible for Extended Coverage
Available in 2-, 5-, 6-, 10-, and 12-year terms depending on equipment type.
Coverage Levels
Labor Only
Covers the labor cost of warranty-eligible repairs while the manufacturer's parts warranty handles the parts. Most cost-effective option for systems still in their factory parts coverage period.
Labor Plus
Covers labor and a list of parts not typically covered by the manufacturer. Good middle option that fills the most common gaps in standard factory coverage.
Parts & Labor Plus
The fullest coverage available: comprehensive parts and labor protection that essentially treats the equipment as if it is still under factory warranty for the duration of the plan.
What's Required to Keep Coverage Active
Annual maintenance by A.J. LeBlanc Heating
The covered equipment must receive annual service from us each year. Most manufacturers require yearly maintenance regardless, and the extended warranty automatically terminates if you skip it. We offer maintenance contracts to keep this on autopilot.
Service work by A.J. LeBlanc Heating only
All repair and service work on the covered equipment must be performed by A.J. LeBlanc Heating. If another contractor services the equipment, the agreement terminates. This protects the quality of work that the agreement is backing.
Transferable to new homeowner
If you sell the home, the agreement transfers to the new owner with 30 days written notice and an equipment inspection. A documented service history adds real resale value to your HVAC equipment.
What's Not Covered
Like every extended warranty, the agreement has exclusions. The most common ones to be aware of:
- Routine maintenance and normal wear and tear
- After-hours and emergency overtime labor (premium rates apply, disclosed up front)
- Damage from fire, water, flood, lightning, freeze, storms, theft, or acts of God
- Repairs caused by water quality issues (scale, mineral buildup, plugged inlet screens)
- Manufacturer recalls, design flaws, and equipment modified by the homeowner
- Consumables: filters, refrigerant, lubricants, fluids
- Accessories not part of the covered equipment: thermostats, batteries, breakers, fuses, zone valves, registers, dampers, ductwork, plumbing, venting
- Aesthetic items: paint, cabinet pieces, rust, corrosion
The complete list of exclusions, customer responsibilities, cancellation terms, and conditions is in the written A.J. LeBlanc Heating Extended Warranty and Service Agreement that we review with you at signing.
Pricing depends on the equipment, coverage level, and term length. We include the relevant options on your written estimate so you can compare side by side, with no obligation to add coverage.

Warranty FAQ
How long is your workmanship warranty and what does it cover?
Every A.J. LeBlanc Heating HVAC installation comes with a 5-year workmanship warranty. It covers issues caused by how we installed the system: line set joints we brazed or flared, electrical connections, ductwork transitions, condensate routing, venting, gas piping, mounting, and the initial refrigerant charge.
Refrigerant leaks are only covered under workmanship when the leak is at a connection we made. Leaks from manufacturer defects or part failures are not workmanship issues, they are handled through the manufacturer's parts warranty (or the extended warranty if purchased). Most contractors offer only 1 to 2 years on workmanship.
Do I have to register my equipment to get the full manufacturer warranty?
Yes, almost every manufacturer requires online registration within 60 to 90 days of installation, otherwise the parts warranty defaults to a much shorter base period (often 5 years instead of 10). A.J. LeBlanc Heating registers every system we install on the homeowner's behalf so the full extended parts warranty is locked in from day one.
What does the manufacturer parts warranty cover?
Manufacturer parts warranties typically cover defects in major components including compressors, heat exchangers, electronic boards, blowers, motors, and coils. Coverage length varies by brand and component, with most major HVAC manufacturers offering 10 years on parts when the system is properly registered. The warranty covers the cost of replacement parts but not the labor to install them, which is where extended coverage comes in.
Why do Daikin installations include extended factory coverage?
As an authorized Daikin dealer, we install qualifying Daikin systems with Daikin's 12-year parts and labor warranty included. That covers both replacement parts and the labor to install them for a full 12 years, with no per-claim deductible. It is one of the strongest factory warranty programs available in residential HVAC, and a major reason we recommend Daikin for homeowners who plan to stay in the home long-term. We register every Daikin install at the time of installation so the coverage is locked in.
What is the A.J. LeBlanc Heating Extended Warranty and Service Agreement?
It is an optional parts-and-labor coverage plan you can purchase at the time of installation. The plan is underwritten by JB Warranties, a national third-party warranty provider that specializes in HVAC, plumbing, water heater, and electrical equipment. A.J. LeBlanc Heating sells the plan, registers your equipment, dispatches our own technicians for service calls, performs the repair, and handles all claim paperwork and billing with JB on your behalf.
The agreement covers the cost of labor and the repair or replacement of internal components on the covered equipment beyond the manufacturer's standard warranty. Plans are available in 2-, 5-, 6-, 10-, and 12-year terms depending on equipment type. No per-claim deductible.
What equipment is eligible for extended warranty coverage?
Central AC and heat pump systems, packaged units, condenser and coil replacements, furnaces, air handlers, LG and Mitsubishi ductless heat pumps (specific factory programs), other ductless heat pump brands, traditional tank water heaters, tankless water heaters, gas and oil boilers, combi boilers, HVAC and boiler zoning systems, and air-cooled or liquid-cooled standby generators.
What do I have to do to keep my extended warranty active?
Two things. First, annual service and maintenance on the covered equipment must be performed by A.J. LeBlanc Heating each year. Keeping these records is your responsibility, and most manufacturers require yearly maintenance regardless. Second, all service and repair work on the equipment must be performed by A.J. LeBlanc Heating. If anyone else services the equipment, the agreement automatically terminates.
What is not covered by the extended warranty?
Routine maintenance, normal wear and tear, after-hours or overtime labor (premium rates apply to emergency calls outside our normal hours), manufacturer recalls or design flaws, damage from water/fire/storms/lightning/freeze/acts of God, leaks at line set joints or drain lines, repairs caused by scale or mineral buildup, consumables (filters, refrigerant, lubricants), accessories like thermostats, batteries, breakers, zone valves, ductwork, plumbing, and venting. Aesthetic items like paint, cabinet pieces, and rust are also excluded. The full list is in your written agreement at signing.
Is the extended warranty transferable if I sell my home?
Yes. The agreement can be transferred to the new homeowner if maintenance has been performed as specified. Notify A.J. LeBlanc Heating in writing within 30 days of the change of ownership. The transfer is effective once we inspect the equipment and confirm it is in maintained condition.
Can I cancel the extended warranty if I change my mind?
Yes. The original purchaser can cancel at any time. If you cancel within the first 30 days, we refund the price paid minus any claims incurred. After 30 days, you receive a prorated refund based on the time expired, minus a cancellation charge of $25 or 10% of the agreement price (whichever is less) and the cost of any claims paid. Submit cancellation in writing to A.J. LeBlanc Heating at 45 South River Road, Bedford, NH 03110.
How do I file a warranty claim?
Call us at 603-623-0412. We handle the entire claim process directly. As the service provider on every plan we sell, we dispatch one of our own technicians to diagnose the issue, perform the repair or replacement, and bill the appropriate provider (manufacturer, Daikin program, or our Extended Warranty) on your behalf. Standard hours are 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday. After-hours emergency service is available at premium rates.
Do you honor warranties on equipment you did not install?
For manufacturer warranties, yes in most cases. We service all major brands regardless of who installed them, and as an authorized service center for many manufacturers we can handle warranty repairs on equipment installed by another contractor. However, the A.J. LeBlanc Heating Extended Warranty and Service Agreement is only available on equipment we install, and is voided if the equipment is moved or serviced by another company.
Want the full coverage picture before you buy?
Every A.J. LeBlanc Heating estimate spells out exactly what is included (workmanship, manufacturer parts, Daikin extended program where applicable) and what optional extended coverage is available, with pricing. No pressure, no obligation.
